DCHS - Rescue
Forever change the life of one of our pets by rescuing them today! DCHS-Rescue is a 501(c)(3) located in Hartsville, SC. Our intake of pets far exceeds our local adoptions, so we rely heavily on rescues like you to pull our pets and save lives. We take in pets every day, so this page is constantly being updated. We encourage you to explore our site and find the perfect pet for your rescue. Highlighting Angus - URGENT
ANGUS is ready to move into a loving forever home. Arriving at the shelter underweight and in need of some TLC, this handsome boy is ready to take on the world! He’s a 2 year old 47lb heart worm negative lab/terrier mix who loves other dogs and plays nicely with all. Volunteers say he’s cute and an adorable little guy. His handlers during the Paws Around the Pee Dee adventure said he is “energetic, sweet, and outgoing.”
Highlighting Bruiser
Bruiser is our Pet of the Week this morning with Rock 94.7 WWBD, sponsored by our friends at Purrs McBarkin'. Bruiser made himself at home on the radio. That's the thing about Bruiser. He's such an awesome guy that just wants to settle down. When in a neighborhood in Hartsville, he learned how to use someone's doggie door and just started letting himself inside with their other pets.
