DCHS - Rescue
Forever change the life of one of our pets by rescuing them today! DCHS-Rescue is a 501(c)(3) located in Hartsville, SC. Our intake of pets far exceeds our local adoptions, so we rely heavily on rescues like you to pull our pets and save lives. We take in pets every day, so this page is constantly being updated. We encourage you to explore our site and find the perfect pet for your rescue. Highlighting Freckles - URGENT
FRECKLES…he’s a sweet 1 year 9 month old heart worm negative terrier mix available for rescue or adoption. Freckles arrived in late July. Currently residing at the DCHS Bridge facility, Freckles is a very friendly boy that plays nicely with other dogs and adores attention from people. He’s a nice medium size at 44lbs, and would make a great companion.
Highlighting Ebony
Meet Ebony! She has been in foster care for a bit with other cats. Ebony is a super chill and laid back girl once she gets used to new people and other cats. Ebony tolerates other well behaved dogs with no issue. If you're looking for a new roommate, Ebony is your girl! She is already spayed, vaccinated, and ready to move in.

Help support our Bridge Boarding facility by giving today! Pets who have rescue and/or require special medical care call Bridge home until it's time for them to launch into their new pet careers. Bridge Boarding frees up kennel space at the shelter and literally saves lives.
