DCHS - Rescue
Forever change the life of one of our pets by rescuing them today! DCHS-Rescue is a 501(c)(3) located in Hartsville, SC. Our intake of pets far exceeds our local adoptions, so we rely heavily on rescues like you to pull our pets and save lives. We take in pets every day, so this page is constantly being updated. We encourage you to explore our site and find the perfect pet for your rescue. Highlighting Rex - URGENT
Rex is a 2–3 year old, 50 lb heart worm negative terrier mix who has been patiently waiting for his forever family since July. This good looking guy walks beautifully on a leash, adores attention, and happily soaks up hugs, kisses, and love from his people. Rex does great with other dogs, meeting them politely before jumping into play mode and having a blast. He’s especially enjoyed playing ball with our teen volunteers.
Highlighting Raven
Meet Raven. This sweet young lady is full of personality and spunk! Whoever said black cats weren't lucky never met her. She came into the shelter as a kitten in September and is finally ready to be in a home of her own. She is playful and so sweet.

Help support our Bridge Boarding facility by giving today! Pets who have rescue and/or require special medical care call Bridge home until it's time for them to launch into their new pet careers. Bridge Boarding frees up kennel space at the shelter and literally saves lives.
