DCHS - Rescue
Forever change the life of one of our pets by rescuing them today! DCHS-Rescue is a 501(c)(3) located in Hartsville, SC. Our intake of pets far exceeds our local adoptions, so we rely heavily on rescues like you to pull our pets and save lives. We take in pets every day, so this page is constantly being updated. We encourage you to explore our site and find the perfect pet for your rescue. Highlighting Anita - URGENT
Meet Anita, a sweet and gentle 3 year old, 30lb, heart worm negative shepherd/bully mix who is ready for a home! Anita has been great in play groups at the shelter, happy to meet other dogs, greeting them politely with a few sniffs and plenty of tail wags. She is playful and will happily romp with the other dogs. She loves affection and happily stretches out to soak up pets and attention from her volunteer companion.

Meet Oliver & Margot! These two were found under a carport sick with infection and covered in fleas at just 6 weeks old. Their awesome finder offered to foster them and that has changed everything! With care and medication, they are flourishing. It's now playtime with all their super kitten powers!
