Radio Pet of the Week May 20, 2026: Bruiser is our Pet of the Week this morning with Rock 94.7 WWBD, sponsored by our friends at Purrs McBarkin'. Bruiser made himself at home on the radio. That's the thing about Bruiser. He's such an awesome guy that just wants to settle down. When in a neighborhood in Hartsville, he learned how to use someone's doggie door and just started letting himself inside with their other pets. He was lovingly called Mooch, because he wanted to come and go at his choosing lol. His charm wasn't enough to win over the resident cats though. Now the mooch needs you to drive here to get him lol. He will absolutely repay you with purrs and biscuits. He's 1 year young, 13lbs of sweetness, was altered prior to his arrival, and is now also microchipped. He's ready to go home!

More about Jax Mar 29, 2026: Reese and Jax were recently brought in as owner surrenders to the shelter. They had been in their home for 5 months but didn't get along with their dogs. They are older and this is at least the second time they've been in a shelter having been adopted from a different one originally. Jax is about 8.5 years old. Both are spayed and up-to-date on their vaccines. Both are a little confused how they ended up back at a shelter. We do not suggest a home with dogs but they could use a human with patience, understanding, and a lot of love to give. If you are that human, please help us show them that they have a new beginning ahead of them.

She was a bit under the weather on arrival, with a little scrape on her nose, but she's feeling much better now and will be spayed soon. We would love for you to take her home!
