2/26/25 Intake: domestic short hair, no weight, 1 yr old, male, FIV+/L-, stray. Caspian was brought in as a stray by animal control from Darlington. He has an entropion right eye that will be fixed.
More about Caspian May 2, 2025: Caspian is such a sweet fellow. He loves to come right up to you and snuggle. He enjoys a good petting session and has a lot of love to give. He is FIV+ but that shouldn't be a game changer. We have him scheduled for eye surgery next week to repair his eye lid and get neutered so he would be able to go into trial adoption if his new people were willing to get him to his appointments.

Gandalf and Merlin - bonded - adoption fee waived
11/6/24 Intake: domestic short hair, 4.6 - 4.8 lbs, 10 wks old, males, strays. They were brought in as strays from Windham Turn Road in Lamar.
More about Gandalf and Merlin June 9, 2025: Merlin and Gandalf. We just love this wizarding duo. They are 2 of our longest residents having been with us since November. They are bonded, so they need to go home together, but they are so loving, snuggly, sweet, playful. They have chronic sinus issues. They get well and they just get snotty/sneezy again so we haven't been able to move them out on resuce. They don't seem to be contagious to other cats nor really have health issues. We would absolutely love to see them in homes of their own. Both are neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to go! Adoption fees are waived for this dynamic duo!

More about Gena Feb 1, 2025: Meet Gena! Gena is a sweet girl who will happily sit by your side and think about life with you. She isn't one to lap sit, but she will help you pick out an outfit and talk over life decisions while she grooms herself. Gena is FIV+ which means she'll need to be an inside cat. She is about 1.5 years old, spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, and ready to be in her own home. She's seen so many of her friends leave recently, and she is so very happy for them! If you have room in your home for Gena, you are welcome to come see her in her cattio!

2/21/25 Intake: domestic medium hair, 7.4 lbs, 10 yrs old, male, FIV+, stray. Mocha was brought in as a stray by animal control from Hudson St in Lamar.
More about Mocha June 12, 2025: Mocha is a former member of the Darlington County Street Cats. He lived on them for 10+ years, he's seen things, he has stories. He's now trying to make a life for himself as a fashion designer and he needs YOUR help! He needs a safe, quite place to fulfill his dreams. He needs a calm environment with LOTS of daily pets, ample inspiration, and more love than he can imagine. He needs YOU! Like all striving artists, he has a quirk, he has what we believe to be a skin and sinus allergy that we so far have been able to control with over-the-counter allergy meds. How can you be an artist without having something to overcome? Am I right? He's been with us since February, he has his rabies shot, is up-to-date on his other vaccines and is FIV+. Because of his sinus allergies (we think) we really haven't had a chance to get him neutered, we are hoping that in a different environment, away from the extra dander, he'll clear up enough that we can get that surgery done. Please let this guy get a second chance at life! You can just come on by and ask to see him or you can apply online for more information! His adoption fees are covered, there will still be the $25 neuter deposit though we are hoping to get that done soon!
