1/5/26 Intake: domestic short hair, 10 lbs, 2.5 yrs old, male, FIV+, stray. Rocket was brought in as a stray by animal control from Georgian Dr in Hartsville.

More about Rocket Jan 23, 2026: Meet Rocket. Rocket is scared and shy but coming around. He was left behind when someone moved. We think he's used to being an outside cat and not very used to humans but will allow you to pet him. He has an old eye injury that is cosmetic in nature at this point. He's neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He needs a patient person with a quiet home. We aren't sure how he'd do with other animals so maybe an only pet? We think with time and trust, he'll be a people cat, but he definitely needs a cat person to love him.
